Shoot Day!!!

New seasons mean many exciting things for a fashion brand and one of my absolute faves are the location shoots we do!

This week the small but perfectly formed team took to the road laden down with equipment and samples to a brand new location for Amy Lynn in East Sussex.. Camber Sands!

Known for its long and wide sandy beaches and beautiful grassy sand dunes this stunning location was the perfect backdrop for a shoot and we couldn't believe our luck with the weather.. after a summer of rainy days the  skies were a clear blue and the sun shone.. just gorgeous!

Hair and make up started as soon as the team disembarked at Rye whilst they waited for me to arrive with the car laden up with samples.. always happy to entertain passers by!

We then drove the ten minute journey to the beach and set up in the dunes with an impromptu dressing room.. years of practice mean we know exactly how to set up and our models are always happy to go with the flow!

A playground shelter as a dressing room was the perfect spot!  We then spent the day shooting around 20 looks.. our Creative Director Greg was on hand to style each look to perfection whilst our experienced photographer George and hair & make up super hero Sam worked their magic for every single shot.

Oh! and there was of course myself and Juliette as assistants making sure everyone had what they needed and was fed and watered.

We managed to get some exquisite shots.. the conditions were absolutely perfect! As was our team!

After a long day we made our way back to Rye to catch the train to London, tired but happy with the day!

If you're ever wanting a beach day you should head to Camber Sands.. you'll be amazed at the beach.. the perfect spot to clear away the cobwebs and get some sea air!
