It looks as though the sun is FINALLY about to make a come back and we are so ready!! This weekend looks to be a busy one and we have got plenty of plans..
We've been coveting some lush pieces from our High Summer Sunset Boulevard edit and its looking like this weekend could be the chance to finally get to wear them!
We are thinking summer in the city vibes for Saturday with a stroll down to the Kings Road in London for some window shopping and possibly a little bit of brunch at Bluebird Chelsea whilst we soak up the atmosphere and watch the world go by!
There's some great little boutiques to discover on this iconic shopping street in London which has always been associated with fashion from the very early days when King Charles paraded up and down the road in his finest waistcoats!
During the sixties Mary Quant held court shocking the world with her mini skirt creations.. We've raised the hemlines this season with the stunning Jagger shift dress now available in new colours!
Then along came Punk with Malcolm Maclaren and Vivienne Westwood and their shop Sex which was the beginning of a totally new perspective on fashion with clashing textures and deconstructed garments turning the world of fashion on its head!
At Amy Lynn we have always looked to the fashion trends of the past for inspiration and these designers still influence us today with short hemlines and cut outs taking centre stage in high summer.
Then on Sunday we are all about dressing casually for a certain sporting event taking place at Wembley! Whichever team you're supporting its all about comfort and we're keeping it sporty with the Ellie shorts teamed with the Emma top and trainers.
Getting dressed up and socialising is something we love.. so whatever your plans this weekend take a look at the Sunset Boulevard edit.. there's sure to be something to suit the occasion!
Have a great weekend!
