SS20 - SUMMER IN THE CITY

SS20 saw a fresh direction for AL with a more pared down aesthetic and a nod to a utilitarian silhouette whilst still retaining the signature feminine essence that represents our brand.

Our main designers here at AL was inspired by London in the summer time, which reminded her of cherry blossoms and lush green parks.

She wanted to invoke the vitality of nature combined with the urban city landscape, from the fresh first days of spring through to the rising heat of high summer days.

This collection is our most versatile yet.. designed to be worn from day to night, from office to bar and to be equally perfect at weekends for day trips to the coast or for a city festival.

The palette celebrates the urban summer with fresh mints and greens contrasting with dusty oranges and pale pinks playing against cool blues replicating the city sunset.

Colour blocking is key and the collection is designed to be easily mixed and matched with minimal thought to help you create versatile looks with key pieces.
