Slip Dress Season!!!

There's a nip in the air and it's definitely time to layer up.. BUT.. we still wanna be glam right?!

The best ever layering comes from the 90's inspired street style of wearing a satin slip dress layered with EVERYTHING!

Seriously.. a satin slip dress is literally one of the most important and most versatile pieces in your wardrobe and a purchase you'll not regret!

During the summer months it's the perfect throw on dress for day or night.. and everything in between. The best satin slip dress should be cut on the bias so it's got a natural 'stretch' and fits perfectly without clinging.. have rolled thin spaghetti straps.. adjustable of course!.. and be a midi length.

Here at Amy Lynn we designed what we think is the perfect satin slip dress! The Gracie satin slip dress has all of the above but with extra details.. we added an asymmetrical hemline to keep the silhouette fresh and intricate paneling for a unique look. The neckline drapes and is super flattering for all body shapes.. honestly we just can't get enough of this style!

As the evenings cool down throw on a denim jacket for that beach babe look.. or if you're out in the city a leather jacket looks equally great!

For the cooler months though I think these slip dresses come into their own worn during the day with boots and a chunky knit worn over the top.. LOVE!
